The compressor is a major component in the A/C system and it functions like the heart of the man. It is operated by force from the engine of the car and it repeats the process of inhaling, compressing and circulating the refrigerant. It compresses the refrigerant into a low-pressure gas, turns it into a high pressure gas by raising its temperature and sends it to the condenser for the release of heat to the surroundings.
